Ecommerce Manager

 This role will oversee the creation, implementation, and continued development of a strategic channel expansion roadmap, working closely with internal and external partners to meet established business growth goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in and a deep understanding of cross- and inter-channel and pricing management, 1P and 3P strategies and tactics, and online advertising and marketing. Through these activities this role will drive strategic e-commerce expansion and improve our online brand and product presence to create sustainable and incremental revenue growth in alignment with overall corporate strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, lead execution of, and maintain a strategic e-commerce strategic roadmap.
     

  • Management of both 1P and 3P channel accounts and strategies including Amazon and other current and future partners.
     

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic operational objectives in alignment with overall corporate business strategic direction and goals.
     

  • Manage external vendors to successfully execute strategic tactics with marketing and third-party logistics suppliers.
     

  • Use data and analytics to identify product, packaging, pricing, and commercial changes to evolve commercial strategies to deliver continued growth and educate internal stakeholders about industry trends.
     

  • Responsible for new e-commerce retail distributor qualification, onboarding, and account management.
     

  • Oversees development and enhancement of proprietary website merchandising and UX to maximize revenue growth.
     

  • Manages development and syndication of accurate and impactful content using industry best practices to drive customer engagement and ensure consumer compliance notification.

  • Ensures cohesive e-commerce pricing and channel consistency in line with corporate resale policies.
     

  • Responsible for the overall channel revenue growth, profitability, and expense management to meet corporate profitability goals.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or another related field. MBA preferred.

  • At least 10 years in successful e-commerce selling and 5 years in e-commerce strategic and channel management.

  • Direct experience in managing a direct Amazon 1P relationship with proven growth track record.

  • Proven successful management of third-party vendors to deliver on channel tactical objectives.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and demonstrated proficiency in utilizing online data and analytical tools to drive actionable commercial strategies.

  • Self-starter who thrives on identifying problems and opportunities, then plans and executes business improvement with strong sense of ownership and ability to meet deadlines and multitask efficiently.

  • Experience in effectively building and managing a team of direct reports, and continued employee development.
