Quality Manager

What You’ll Do

​Job Summary:​

  • Develop and administer policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and manufacturing processes.

  • Make recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields.

  • Ensure quality control staff follow established procedures and complete work within time and budgetary constraints.
     

Essential Duties:

  • Ensure products meet appropriate quality standards

  • Oversee ISO-9001:2015 quality program

  • Lead in the revision and/or creation of process documentation

  • Identify opportunities for process or product improvement

  • Manage third party product certifications such as NSF, UL, CSA, IAPMO

  • Maintain appropriate documentation of specifications and test results

  • Manage subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs

  • Ensure goals are met and adhering to approved timelines and budgets

  • Own customer complaint and corrective action system

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as an individual contributor and 1-3 years supervisory experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite Software.

  • Experience with Project Management or Process Mapping software is desirable.
     

Working Environment:

  • This position performs work duties both in a typical office and manufacturing floor environment. Routine presence of hazardous materials that may require proper safeguards, procedures, and personal protective equipment.
     

  • Annual Salary Range:

  •  $100-108k
