Supply Chain Analyst

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data on inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts to analyze supply chain operations.
     

  • Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
     

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance, identifying alternatives, and developing contingency plans.
     

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
     

  • Cost Reduction: Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.
     

  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in supplier selection, contracting, and sourcing.
     

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes.
     

  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide recommendations to senior management on supply chain optimization and strategy based on data analysis and market insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 5-10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments and vendors.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).

  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry-specific supply chain challenges.

Annual Salary Range:

  •  $75k - $90k
